According to Chapter 23 of the Sai Satcharitra, while many devotees considered Sai Baba to be an Incarnation (Avatar) due to His divine characteristics, He Himself maintained a position of profound humility. He would often say, 'I am a humble servant in the court of Allah.' Instead of claiming divinity with phrases like 'Anal Haq' (I am God), His constant chants were 'I am a poor servant,' 'He is the Truth (Ya-De-Haq),' and 'Allah Malik' (God is the Master).
