How did Sai Baba describe himself, and how did his devotees see him? It seems a bit contradictory.

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 23

According to Chapter 23, there was a fascinating duality in how Sai Baba was perceived versus how He presented Himself. His devotees considered Him to be an Incarnation (Avatar) because He displayed all the necessary signs and characteristics. However, Baba Himself maintained a stance of profound humility. He would say, "I am a humble servant in the court of Allah" and constantly chanted phrases like "Allah Malik" (God is the Master). The text notes that He never proclaimed Himself as God by saying "Anal Haq." This contrast highlights His perfect human conduct and humility, even while being regarded by others as a divine incarnation, as described in Chapter 23.
