How did Sai Baba demonstrate his omniscience to the devotee Laxmichand?

In Chapter 28 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Sai Baba demonstrated his omniscience in a profound interaction with a devotee named Laxmichand. When Laxmichand came to the masjid, he silently wondered if Baba's persistent coughing was the result of an 'evil eye.' To his complete astonishment, Baba then spoke aloud, articulating the very same thought: "It seems someone's evil eye has struck me; Therefore this cough again and again causes distress to my life." This incident caused Laxmichand to realize that Baba dwells in everyone's heart and is aware of all unspoken thoughts, solidifying his faith and causing him to plead for Baba's continued grace.
