How did Sai Baba demonstrate his omniscience to his devotee Laxmichand?

Sai Baba demonstrated his omniscience in a remarkable way to Laxmichand. As detailed in Chapter 28 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Laxmichand had a private thought that Baba's persistent cough might be the effect of an evil eye. The very next morning at the masjid, Baba voiced this exact sentiment, asking aloud, "It seems someone's evil eye has struck me; Therefore this cough again and again causes distress to my life."
