How did Sai Baba demonstrate his omniscience to a devotee named Laxmichand?

The Shri Sai Satcharitra describes a wonderful incident involving Laxmichand in Chapter 28. Laxmichand was concerned that Baba's persistent coughing might be the effect of an evil eye. When he went to the masjid, he was astonished to hear Baba say the very same thing: 'Yesterday I had much coughing; is this the effect of an evil eye? It seems someone's evil eye has struck me.' This moment of profound realization made Laxmichand wonder how Baba could know his innermost thoughts, concluding that Baba must dwell in everyone's heart. This experience solidified his faith, and he immediately pleaded for Baba's continued grace and protection.
