How did Sai Baba demonstrate his impartiality towards both Hindu and Muslim communities?

Sai Baba exemplified impartiality in his appearance, actions, and the very space he inhabited. As described in Chapter 7, he looked like a Muslim to a Hindu and had the noble marks of a Hindu to a Muslim. He actively celebrated festivals from both traditions with equal joy, such as orchestrating the Hindu festival of Ram Navami with devotional songs and wrestling matches, while also giving permission for the Muslim Sandal and Tabut processions during Moharram. By residing in a mosque that also housed a sacred Hindu fire (Dhuni) and echoed with the sound of bells and conches, he demonstrated that his conduct was always equal and impartial toward both groups, transcending conventional religious divisions.
