According to Chapter 7, Sai Baba treated Hindu and Muslim festivals with equal joy and reverence. For the Hindu festival of Ram Navami, he would have a cradle tied in the assembly hall and arrange for devotional stories and songs (Katha and Kirtan), as well as wrestling matches with prizes. On that very same night, he would also give permission to Muslims for the Sandal procession. Similarly, he would have Gopal-Kala prepared for the festival of Gokul Ashtami. When it came to Muslim festivals, he placed no obstacles on their prayers (Namaj) during Eid and once permitted some followers to construct a Tabut for Moharram, allowing it to be kept for four days in the Masjid.
How did Sai Baba demonstrate his impartiality by celebrating both Hindu and Muslim festivals?
