How did Sai Baba demonstrate his equal regard for both Hindu and Muslim traditions, especially concerning festivals?

According to Chapter 7 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Sai Baba masterfully balanced and honored both Hindu and Muslim faiths. For the Hindu festival of Ram Navami, he would have a cradle tied in the assembly hall and arrange for devotional stories and songs (Katha and Kirtan). On that very same night, he would also give permission to Muslims for the Sandal procession, which was held with great ceremony. The text explicitly states that he conducted both festivals with equal joy. Furthermore, he would organize wrestling matches for Ram Navami, but also showed no obstacle to Muslim prayers (Namaj) during Eid and even permitted a Tabut to be made and kept in the mosque for four days during Moharram.
