The story of Khimji Lalji Joshi's daughter is detailed in a footnote within Chapter 33. The girl was ill for a long time and became very weak, with her limbs described as being like twigs, rendering her unable to walk. Her mother first took some of Maharaj's Udi, which provided immediate relief. The family then took the daughter to Shirdi. She was so frail that a man had to carry her and place her near Maharaj. Sai Baba himself applied Udi to her and blessed her. Remarkably, within two to four days, she regained enough strength to start walking on her own. When she still had some difficulty getting up, she complained to Maharaj, who then gave her a fruit to eat, which completely removed her remaining trouble.
How did Sai Baba cure the severely ill daughter of Khimji Lalji Joshi?
