How did Sai Baba address the doubts of the Yogi who visited him with Nanasaheb Chandorkar in Chapter 23?

📖 Chapter 23

In Chapter 23, a Yogi who had studied the Yoga Shastras came to Sai Baba hoping to achieve Samadhi. However, upon seeing Baba eating stale bread with onions, a strong doubt arose in his mind about Baba's spiritual stature. As this chapter narrates, Sai Baba, being omniscient, immediately perceived the Yogi's thought and remarked to Nanasaheb Chandorkar, "Only those whose digestion is strong should eat onion. One who has the strength to digest it may eat onion freely." This pointed comment startled the Yogi, making him realize Baba's divine insight. He then surrendered with true devotion, his doubts were resolved, and he left with Baba's blessings, feeling happy and at peace.
