How did other recognized saints react upon encountering Sai Baba?

Other holy men who encountered Maharaj immediately recognized his profound spiritual stature. For instance, as described in Chapter 0, when Gangagir Baba first saw Maharaj carrying water, he exclaimed to the villagers that Maharaj was a "purely a gem" and that the village was very lucky to have him. Similarly, Anandnath Maharaj, a disciple of the famous Swami of Akkalkot, upon arriving in Shirdi, declared, "This is a diamond. You don't know its true value."
