How did Mr. Tarkhad react when he found out he forgot the Naivedya offering?

When Babasaheb Tarkhad realized his mistake at his dining plate, his reaction was one of extreme remorse and repentance. Chapter 9 describes him as being "filled with remorse" and speaking to Sai's image with "tearful eyes." He did not view it as a simple mistake but as a "great sin" for which he felt immense repentance and shame. He immediately prostrated before the photograph, choked with grief, and pleaded for mercy and forgiveness. In his helplessness, he even sent a letter to his son in Shirdi, confessing his "great error" and asking his son to pray for forgiveness from Sai on his behalf.
