How did Mamlatdar Dev rationalize his belief that Sai Baba would visit him in Dahanu, despite Baba rarely leaving the vicinity of Shirdi?

📖 Chapter 40

Mamlatdar Dev's faith was rooted in his understanding of Sai Baba's divine and omnipresent nature. As Chapter 40 explains, although Dev was aware that Baba's physical travels were typically confined to Rahata, Rui, or Nimgon, he believed Baba was a "complete master of miracles (Leelavatari)" who could move freely by His will alone. The text illustrates this by comparing Baba's presence to the sky, which is perfectly full and not bound by concepts of coming and going. Dev understood that Baba pervades all of creation, both moving and unmoving, and could therefore manifest anywhere, making a visit to Dahanu entirely possible despite the physical distance.
