How did Maharaj's method of healing or helping people change over time?

Initially, Maharaj's method of helping people was through conventional medicine. Chapter 0 states that he used to give medicines to people and never took any money for it. If a patient was not being cared for properly, he would even go and nurse them himself. However, he later stopped this practice. As described in Chapter 0, Maharaj transitioned from giving medicine to giving only Udi, or holy ash, which people also found beneficial. He explained this shift to a writer, stating that after he stopped giving medicine, he started chanting "Hari Hari" and through that practice, he "met Hari."
