How did Maharaj, later known as Sai Baba, travel to Shirdi, and what were the circumstances of his arrival?

Maharaj's journey to Shirdi was tied to a wedding. As the Introduction (Chapter 0) recounts, after staying at Chandbhai's house for a few days, a wedding was arranged for Chandbhai's wife's nephew with a girl from Shirdi. Maharaj came to Shirdi accompanying that wedding procession. The procession stopped in a garden near the Khandoba temple outside the village. It was upon entering this very temple that Maharaj met Mhalasapati, who spontaneously gave him the name "Sai Baba," marking a pivotal moment in his life.
