How did Maharaj interact with his devotees during the gatherings at the Masjid after collecting alms?

After returning from his alms rounds, Sai Baba would hold a sitting at the Masjid where many devotees gathered. As we learn from Chapter 0, this was a time for both spiritual guidance and personal connection. Maharaj would give advice to the attendees through the medium of stories. In a display of personal care and affection, he would also sometimes buy fruits like bananas, guavas, and mangoes to share. He would personally prepare the fruit—peeling bananas, cutting guavas, and squeezing mangoes with his own hands—before distributing them and even feeding people himself.
