During the three daily sittings, Maharaj would offer advice through stories that addressed the matters on the minds of the people present. He also showed his affection in tangible ways. Chapter 0 mentions that he would sometimes buy bananas, guavas, and mangoes, and not only distribute them but also feed people with his own hands, personally peeling and preparing the fruit. For the large number of devotees who came with worldly desires (Sakam), Maharaj would first satisfy their desire and then seamlessly turn their minds toward their ultimate spiritual welfare, as his purpose was the salvation of all.
