Upon his arrival, Maharaj primarily assisted villagers by providing medical help. According to Chapter 0, he would give people medicines free of charge and even personally care for patients who were not being looked after properly. The text notes there are still people alive whom Maharaj treated. Later, he stopped administering traditional medicine and instead began giving out Udi, or sacred ash, which people also found beneficial. He never accepted money for his services, demonstrating a selfless commitment to the well-being of the community.
