How did Maharaj assist Chandbhai in the forest and what miracle did he perform?

Maharaj assisted Chandbhai in two significant ways in the forest. First, when Chandbhai was searching for his horse, Maharaj pointed towards a hedge and told him the horse was there; Chandbhai went and found the horse grazing exactly as predicted. Later, after giving Chandbhai his chillum, a need for fire arose. Since there was no fire available in the forest, Maharaj performed a miracle. As Chapter 0 explains, he simply struck his tongs on the ground, which miraculously produced fire, allowing him to complete his task. This demonstration of supernatural power preceded his stay at Chandbhai's home and his eventual journey to Shirdi.
