How did Maharaj address Kashiram's pride associated with giving Dakshina?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

According to Chapter 0, Maharaj noticed that Kashiram's devotion was tainted by the pride of being a giver, which is an obstacle to spiritual progress. To correct this, Maharaj orchestrated a divine play, or leela. He began demanding Dakshina from Kashiram relentlessly until Kashiram's money ran out and he was forced to borrow. When the lenders also stopped, Kashiram finally had to admit he had nothing left. This experience was designed to make him realize he did not truly have the 'power to give,' thus removing his pride and clearing his spiritual path.
