How did Madhavrao Deshpande unexpectedly come to assist Kakasaheb Dixit in his journey to Shirdi?

📖 Chapter 51

The arrival of Madhavrao Deshpande to assist Kakasaheb Dixit was a result of what appeared to be a divine plan. As detailed in Chapter 51, Dixit was anxiously waiting in Nagar, eager to travel to Shirdi. Meanwhile, Madhavrao, a priest from Shirdi, was summoned to Nagar by a telegram from his father-in-law claiming his mother-in-law was gravely ill. After getting Baba's permission, Madhavrao rushed to Nagar. Upon his arrival, he was spotted by Nanasahib Panshe and Appasahib Gadre, who immediately recognized him as the perfect person to escort the eager Dixit to Shirdi. They connected the two, setting the journey in motion. Interestingly, Madhavrao later found his mother-in-law's health to be perfectly fine, suggesting the telegram was merely a pretext for this meeting.
