How did Madhavrao Deshpande end up being the one to accompany Dixit Kaka to Shirdi?

Madhavrao Deshpande's involvement was a matter of fortunate timing and the intervention of other devotees. Chapter 51 explains that while Madhavrao was visiting his father-in-law's house, Nanasahib Panshe and Appasahib Gadre chanced upon him.
