How did Madhavrao and Dixit come to possess the portrait of Sai Baba for their journey?

The story of how they obtained the portrait is a key event in Chapter 51. The portrait was originally with Balasaheb, who entrusted it to Madhavrao before leaving for a horse show. The task of taking it to Shirdi was then given to Madhavraoji. At Mirikar's house, where Dixit was present, Madhavrao moved the curtain covering the portrait and handed it over to Dixit.
