Madhavrao Deshpande and Kakasaheb Dixit's journey to Shirdi was an eventful one. According to chapter 51 of the Sai Satcharita, after deciding on a plan at Mirikar's house, they took Baba's portrait and went to the station to catch the ten o'clock night train. They bought second-class tickets but were met with a major problem: the second-class carriage was completely full. They were worried and even considered postponing their trip. However, just in time, the train guard, who happened to know Dixit, appeared and arranged for them to travel comfortably in the first-class compartment. Their journey from there to Kopergaon station was a happy one.
How did Madhavrao and Dixit actually travel to Shirdi, and did they face any problems on the way?
