How did Laxmichand's relationship with and devotion to Sai Baba evolve after his initial pilgrimage?

📖 Chapter 28

Laxmichand's devotion deepened significantly through direct experiences of Baba's grace. As detailed in Chapter 28, his initial pilgrimage was followed by two key events. First, when Baba miraculously fulfilled his unspoken desire for khaja, his love for Baba became fixed, and he established a regular practice of worship. His faith was further cemented after Baba echoed his private thoughts about the 'evil eye,' proving Baba's omniscience. This led Laxmichand to plead for Baba's continued grace and fully surrender to him. From then on, his devotion was so constant that whenever he learned someone was traveling to Shirdi, he would regularly send offerings like garlands, camphor, and dakshina to Baba through them.
