How did Laxmichand's devotion to Sai Baba change after the incidents with the khaja and the cough?

📖 Chapter 28

Laxmichand's experiences in Shirdi profoundly deepened his devotion. After Baba fulfilled his desire for khaja and revealed knowledge of his private thoughts and pains, Chapter 28 notes that "From then, love was fixed on Baba; incense, coconut, garland became a regular practice." This marked a significant transformation. His devotion became an active and consistent practice, as he then made it a point to send offerings like a garland, dakshina, camphor, and incense with anyone he knew was traveling to Shirdi. These actions show that his faith moved from being a simple pilgrim to a dedicated and regular worshipper whose connection was solidified by Baba's personal attention and miracles.
