According to Chapter 0, his faith in Maharaj was so profound that he refused hospital treatment and insisted on being taken to Shirdi. Upon his arrival, Madhavrao Deshpande treated his wounds as per Maharaj's instructions. By Sai Baba's grace, Kashiram's health improved, and he made a full recovery. As a testament to his courage in fighting the thieves, the Bombay government later presented him with a sword as a gift.
