How did Kakasaheb Dixit, a prominent figure, come to know about Sai Baba, and what was his initial motivation for seeking darshan?

📖 Chapter 51

Hari Sitaram Dixit, also known as Kakasaheb, was introduced to Sai Baba through his old friend, Nana Saheb Chandorkar. As recounted in Chapter 51, they met in Lonavala after many years. During their conversation, Dixit mentioned a persistent foot injury he sustained in London. Nana suggested that if Dixit wanted the lameness to vanish, he should seek the darshan of his Guru, Sai Baba. Nana then joyfully described the greatness of Baba, explaining that one cannot be drawn to Him without His will. This description deeply moved Dixit, and he decided to go for Baba's darshan, though his ultimate motivation shifted toward spiritual goals.
