How did Hemadpant's frugal writing habits create challenges for completing the Satcharitra after his death?

📖 Chapter 53

Hemadpant's very frugal nature significantly complicated the completion of the Satcharitra. As described in Chapter 53, he was so opposed to wasteful expenditure that he would write the chapters on scraps of paper and send those same scraps to the printer. After his sudden passing, his son, Shri Gajanan, had to undertake a great effort to research these vast and disorganized records. This unique writing method meant that when others tried to find the promised summary, it was nowhere to be found within the collection of scraps, leading to a prolonged effort to compile and conclude the book.
