How did Dixit view his physical lameness, and what did he ask Sai Baba to cure instead?

📖 Chapter 4

Kakasaheb Dixit had a profound spiritual perspective on his physical ailment. As Chapter 4 explains, when Chandorkar suggested that seeing Sai could cure his lameness, Dixit did not consider this physical condition a true deficiency. He believed that the human body, being a temporary collection of skin, blood, meat, and bones, was a momentary carriage. Therefore, he felt the real ailment was not of the body but of the spirit. He told Sai that the "real lameness is of the mind" and asked the Master to remove that spiritual lameness instead of his physical one.
