After completing his election work in Ahmednagar, H.S. Dixit was consumed with the worry of how he would get to Shirdi and be introduced to Sai Baba. As described in Chapter 51, he respectfully asked the Mirikars for assistance, and they were discussing who might accompany him. While human plans were being made, a divine one unfolded. Madhavrao Deshpande, a key devotee from Shirdi, unexpectedly arrived in Nagar after receiving a telegram about his mother-in-law's health. He was spotted by Nanasahib Panshe and Appasahib Gadre, who immediately recognized him as the perfect person to guide Dixit. They directed Madhavrao to Mirikar's house, where he met Dixit for the first time. This seemingly coincidental meeting resolved Dixit's anxiety, and they made a plan to travel together to Shirdi on the ten o'clock night train.
How did Dixit's intense desire to visit Shirdi finally get fulfilled? It seems like he was stuck in Nagar with no one to take him.
