How did devotees perform service (seva) for Sai Baba in the Masjid, and what was his attitude towards it?

📖 Chapter 24

Devotees performed service for Sai Baba in numerous physical ways, demonstrating their love and devotion. As described in Chapter 24, some would press his side, others would massage his feet, and some would press his back and stomach. Baba, who was a lifelong celibate, allowed both men and women to perform this service. A notable example is Mavshibai, who would vigorously press and 'grind' Baba's stomach. The text mentions that Baba would watch these interactions neutrally, sometimes even allowing quarrels to arise between devotees before he would reconcile them. This illustrates that he accepted all forms of heartfelt service, valuing the love behind the action.
