How did devotees honor Sai Baba once he was seated inside the Chavadi?

📖 Chapter 51

Once the procession concluded, Baba was taken with honor and seated in the Chavadi, where devotees would lovingly worship Him. As described in Chapter 51, they would anoint His body with sandalwood and adorn Him with various ornaments and clothes. This could include a crest, a plume, a golden crown, or a beautiful gold-embroidered dress. Devotees placed garlands of diamonds, pearls, and emeralds around His neck, applied a fragrant musk mark on His forehead, washed His feet, and placed betel leaf (tambool) in His mouth.
