How did devotees express their affection for Sai Baba during the Chavadi ceremonies?

Devotees expressed their immense love for Sai Baba in various ways during the Chavadi procession. As detailed in Chapter 37, they would adorn Him with beautiful ornaments, including necklaces of diamonds, pearls, and emeralds. They would draw a saffron tilak on His forehead, place a crown on His head, and hang flower garlands around His neck. Bapusaheb Jog would lovingly wash Baba's feet with water from a silver plate, and Nanasaheb Nimonkar held a white umbrella over Him. This elaborate decoration was a way for them to celebrate their Guru and express their deep devotion.
