How did Chand Patil first encounter Sai Baba, and what were the circumstances of their meeting?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 5

According to the narrative in Chapter 5 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, the meeting between Chand Patil and Sai Baba was a matter of divine orchestration. Chand Patil, a resident of Dhup village, was in great distress, having lost his mare for two months. While returning from Aurangabad, feeling dejected and carrying the mare's saddle on his back, he came across a mango tree. As detailed in Chapter 5, it was under this tree that he saw a Fakir, who was in fact Sai Baba. Baba, appearing with a cap, kafni, and a satka, called out to the passing Patil, inviting him to rest and smoke a chillum, thus initiating their historic first meeting.
