How did Chand Patil end up meeting Sai Baba for the first time?

According to the narrative in Chapter 5, Chand Patil, a fortunate Muslim man from Dhup village, had lost his mare while traveling to Aurangabad. After searching for two months without success, he was returning home, completely disappointed, with the saddle slung over his back. On his journey, about nine miles from Aurangabad, he came across a mango tree. Under this tree, he saw a Fakir (Sai Baba) who called out to him, inviting him to rest and smoke a chillum. This encounter was the first meeting between Chand Patil and Baba.
