How did Balasaheb Deo initially try to incorporate the Dnyaneshwari into his spiritual practice, and what was the outcome of these efforts?

📖 Chapter 41

Initially, Balasaheb Deo attempted to establish a daily reading of the Dnyaneshwari, much like one might read a chapter of the Bhagavad Gita as a regular rule. However, as chapter 41 recounts, this resolution would not hold without interruption. Despite having a strong intent, various obstacles would prevent him from succeeding. He even took a three-month leave from work, but still could not accomplish this goal. The text explains that whenever he took the Dnyaneshwari in hand, doubts would arise in his heart, which made the reading feel superficial and prevented him from developing a true love for it. Ultimately, his efforts, born of his own resolution, ended in failure and distress, as he couldn't even manage to read five verses daily.
