How did Balaji Patil Nevasakar demonstrate his extreme devotion and detachment from worldly things?

📖 Chapter 35

Balaji Patil Nevasakar showed his extraordinary devotion through acts of complete self-sacrifice and detachment, as detailed in Chapter 35. He considered Sai Baba to be the true owner of all his possessions. After every harvest, he would bring all the grain from his fields and pour it in heaps at the mosque, offering it at Baba's feet. He would only take home the portion that Baba would give back to him to live on. In another profound act of service, Balaji would drink the wastewater from the drain after Baba had finished bathing and washing his hands and feet. This practice continued throughout his life, showing his immense humility and dedication.
