How did Babasaheb Tarkhad agree to handle the daily worship of Sai Baba while his son was away in Shirdi?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 9

When the Tarkhad family planned a trip to Shirdi, the son was worried about who would perform the daily worship of Sai Baba's photograph at home. As detailed in Chapter 9, the son's devotion was such that he would not eat without first making a food offering, or 'Naivedya,' to Sai. To alleviate his son's concern, his father, Babasaheb Tarkhad, promised to take over the ritual. He gave his word that no one in the household would consume food until the Naivedya was offered to Sai each day. Upon receiving this assurance, the son felt comfortable making the journey, and his father began performing the daily worship himself.
