How did Baba manage and guide devotees, both near and far, in their spiritual practices?

Sai Baba's methods for guiding devotees were profound, demonstrating his omnipresence. Chapter 18 explains that Baba instructs devotees in various ways, and whether they are near or in a distant land, He is always 'close within'. Even while remaining in the Masjid, He would assign tasks to specific people, such as asking Bapusaheb Jog to read the Nath Bhagawat in the Wada. Baba would empower them with His own energy to get the work done. He would then orchestrate events, sending other devotees to listen to the readings at precisely the right moment to hear a story that would confirm something He had just told them, thus reinforcing their faith and understanding.
