How did Baba guide his devotees from attachment to his physical form towards an understanding of the formless (Nirguna)?

📖 Chapter 11

Chapter 11 details that Sai Baba employed countless methods to help his devotees transcend attachment to his physical body and realize the formless (Nirguna). He tailored these methods to each devotee's eligibility. For example, Baba would send one person to another country, confine another to solitude within Shirdi, lock a devotee in the Wada lodging, or assign them the task of reading scriptures. As explained in this chapter, by practicing these disciplines for years, the devotees' longing for the Nirguna would grow, and their minds would become constantly occupied with Baba’s spiritual company, whether they were sitting, sleeping, or eating, thus moving beyond the need for his physical presence.
