How did Baba explain the relationship between Faith (Nishtha) and Patience (Saburi)?

📖 Chapter 19

In Chapter 19, Sai Baba teaches that Faith (Nishtha) and Patience (Saburi) are inextricably linked and fundamentally important for a disciple. He beautifully illustrates their connection by stating, "Faith and Patience are like two sisters, dear as life to each other." This shows they are not separate virtues but a complementary pair. He further clarifies their importance by explaining that even a very powerful Guru expects only two things from a disciple: "strong faith at the Guru’s feet and the strength of courage which is patience." By presenting them as the two 'paise' his Guru requested, he establishes them as the core currency of the Guru-disciple relationship, far more valuable than any ritual or mantra.
