How did Baba demonstrate the connection between his own words and the scriptures being read in the Wada?

Sai Baba had a miraculous way of showing that his teachings were in complete harmony with the sacred texts. Chapter 18 describes a phenomenon that listeners considered a great wonder. Baba would sometimes tell a short story to a devotee at the Masjid and then, while the person was still absorbing it, instruct them to go to Sathe’s Wada for the book reading. Upon arriving, the sincere listener would discover that the very same story Baba had just narrated was coincidentally coming up in the text being read by Jog. This provided immediate confirmation and a deeper understanding, making it appear as if the ancient words of Jnaneshwar or Eknath were a direct translation of Baba’s own speech.
