How did Anandnath Maharaj end up visiting Shirdi, and what was his assessment of the holy man residing there?

The story of Anandnath Maharaj's arrival is quite remarkable. As detailed in the Introduction (Chapter 0), some residents of Shirdi, including Madhavrao Balwant Deshpande, had gone to Savargaon for Anandnath Maharaj's darshan. As they were preparing to leave, Anandnath Maharaj, who was a disciple of the Swami of Akkalkot, suddenly ran and sat in their cart, insisting, "I am coming with you." Despite attempts by others to stop him, his decision was final. Upon reaching Shirdi, his profound words about Maharaj were, "This is a diamond. You don't know its true value."
