Although Amir was forbidden from even going to the Masjid for a vision, the location of the Chavadi was such that he received Baba's darshan automatically and frequently. As Chapter 22 explains, Baba's daily routine facilitated this. Every morning, Baba's path for begging alms took him right past the Chavadi, allowing Amir to see him both coming and going without leaving his bedding. Similarly, every evening, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi. Most importantly, every alternate day, Baba himself would stay in the Chavadi, with only a nominal curtain between them, giving Amir unparalleled access and companionship.
How did Amir Shakkar manage to see Sai Baba while he was confined to the Chavadi for nine months?
