How did Amir Shakkar maintain his faith while enduring the terrible conditions of the Chavadi?

📖 Chapter 22

Amir Shakkar's experience is a testament to the power of internal faith over external circumstances. Chapter 22 explains that although the physical conditions in the Chavadi were contrary to his well-being, 'internally there was certain faith; because of that, everything went well.' Baba's firm words were that he should not weigh the difficulties of the place, whether it was windy, rainy, damp, or uneven. Amir accepted Baba's word as the ultimate medicine and the company of Sai as the 'Great Prasad.' By holding onto this internal conviction and surrendering to Baba's instruction, he was able to stay there happily for the prescribed nine months, demonstrating unwavering belief.
