How did Amir Shakkar get to see Sai Baba even though he was forbidden from going to the Masjid?

πŸ“– Chapter 22

Even though Amir Shakkar was forbidden from going to the Masjid for darshan during his nine-month stay, his assigned location in the Chavadi ensured he could see Sai Baba frequently. As Chapter 22 explains, this happened automatically and without effort. Baba's daily morning path for alms took him right past the Chavadi, allowing Amir to have his vision while Baba was going and coming. Similarly, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi every evening. Furthermore, on alternate nights when Baba slept in the Chavadi, they were separated by only a plank door and a nominal curtain and would talk privately after the other devotees left.
