Despite being forbidden from going to the Masjid for darshan, Amir Shakkar was fortunate to have frequent visions of Sai Baba due to the Chavadi's location and Baba's own routine. As described in Chapter 22, Baba's path for morning alms went right by the Chavadi, allowing Amir to see Him as He went and returned, all without leaving his spot. Furthermore, every evening, Baba would come in front of the Chavadi to salute all directions. The greatest blessing occurred every other day when Baba would sleep in the Chavadi itself. On these nights, only a nominal curtain and a plank door separated them, and after the other devotees left, they would talk with calm minds, ensuring Amir had constant and effortless access to Baba's presence.
How did Amir get to see Sai Baba so often even though he was told to stay in the Chavadi and not even visit the Masjid?
