How did a simple act of charity, like feeding ants, escalate into a life-or-death situation for Kashiram?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

The escalation occurred during an unfortunate encounter with robbers. As recounted in Chapter 0, Kashiram, following the advice of Saint Janakidas Baba, carried a bundle of powdered sugar to feed ants. This bundle was very precious to him. When Bhil robbers attacked him on the road, they mistakenly believed this bundle contained treasure and attempted to seize it. Kashiram's profound attachment to this charitable act compelled him to defend the bundle at all costs. This refusal to surrender the sugar led to a violent confrontation where he fought back, killed two thieves, and was nearly killed himself.
