Chapter 0 explains that a Sadguru accepts service from devotees through books in two ways. One is by having them study great works the Guru himself created. The second, more relevant to Sai Baba, is by having his biographies written by devotees. The community then engages in service through the study and "Parayans" (devotional readings) of these biographies. As described in Chapter 0, this act of collective study serves the Guru, provides merit to the writer, and helps all participating devotees achieve the purpose of their lives by serving God in humanity. The Shri Sai Satcharita is a prime example of such a work created for this purpose.
How can devotees of Sai Baba build a community and serve him through literature?
